Somatic Experience from Dance, Shiatsu, Osteopathy (2. Year in Training)

Dancer, Shiatsu Practitioner since 2017, Heilpraktiker since 2024, Osteopathy in Training. Loves Intuition, Connection between humans, and feeling alive.

Modalities:

My approach is informed by my background as a dancer, my intuition, and my knowledge of the body. It is also informed by the anatomical and physiological knowledge I am acquiring through my osteopathy training.

Shiatsu has this beautiful focus that energy (QI) flows through our body, and that it needs to keep in movement. When stuck, we start to get worried, or have pains or things we dont even understand. If you are feeling out of tune, fatigued, shiatsu can help by creating a safe space for you, removing blockages and allowing QI to ‘flow’ again. This helps you feel aligned with yourself, discover new pathways, and gain a deeper understanding of things you already knew. It also enables you to rest deeply.

Osteopathy, as I understand it, involves a detailed understanding of the various systems in the body and the specific treatment of these. It combines muscles/bones/fascia, the nervous system, the craniosacral system and the lymphatic system, and also the organs ! to treat you holistically and in a connected way.
Both practices are based on the belief that the body can heal itself with the right support. My aim is to gradually combine both approaches in order to provide a pallet of techniques and approaches that can help the best for your needs and interests.

I can already see this happening and hope it will continue to grow. 🙂

Freddie offers brow, lash, and facial treatments for all genders. He trained in the UK in Beauty (2018-2020) and has since trained with Poppy Ellis Brows (brow mapping), Brows’n’Beauty Berlin (Browlift/Lashlift), PINK Waxing and Axiom Waxing (specialist/facial waxing), and Re:lax Skin School, London (Facial & Intra-oral Massage). He also works as an artist in queer performance.

Modalities:

My appointments are designed with calm and softness in mind. I’m interested in beauty treatments as a space to connect between inside and outside, a time to move through blocks by trying something new, or simply an hour to give to yourself and your own ideas of beauty.

Brows: In the first appointment for Brow Design, we check in about your wishes and look at any styles you like (feel free to bring photos!). Then I map the suggested shape on your brows and we have time to look together if you are happy, or make any adjustments. If you choose tint, I mix a custom shade for you, and the shaping is done with wax and tweezers. Brow oil and eye cream are used to finish the brows and take care of your skin.

Tint is a kind of dye that can be used for brows, lashes & ‘taches. It can make brows appear fuller, more defined, and fill in gaps, as well as changing the hair colour.

Browlift/Lashlift are like perms (Dauerwelle) for your brows & lashes! Brow hairs are lifted, and then tinted. Lashes are curled and then tinted. Oils and specialist products are used to condition the hairs afterwards.

I am happy to discuss with you how to get the brow style you’re looking for. I offer 10min free consultation calls, please email me or check my booking page.

Facials: My facials are a sensory relaxation space with a scent of your choice diffused in the room and low lighting. The facial isn’t only about skincare, it’s also a chance for you to check in with your body and see how you’re doing. Check my menu to see the different options. I love working with faces, and am often adding new facial massage techniques. Some facials include neck/shoulder, hand & arm massage.

My service aims to be as accessible as possible, please let me know if you need to navigate pain, covid cautiousness, or any other access needs. You can book a no talking appointment on my treatment menu.

Thai Yoga Massage and Deep-Tissue, Wellness

I am Maria and I grew up in Greece. Even though I studied Mathematics, I’ve always been fascinated by the capabilities of the human body and the deep connections we can form with others and that’s how massage came to my path. For the past four years, I’ve been practicing massage here in Berlin.

For me, massage is so much more than just a series of movements to relax your muscles. It’s a shared experience, a connection between giver and receiver, an exchange of energy, and a way to help you reconnect with your body and mind. My goal after every session is that your needs and your wishes have been met and that you leave feeling more gentle with your body and with yourself.

Modalities:

Thai Yoga Massage: Gentle stretches and mobilization of joints bring lightness to the muscles and help the body release built-up tension. Muscle tissue is loosened by gentle palpation and tension is released at precise acupressure points. This form of massage is practiced on the floor and in comfortable loose clothing.

Deep-Tissue: Slow strokes and intense pressure to realign deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The goal is to break up scar tissue, release muscle adhesions and improve overall mobility and posture. It applies with almond oil on a comfortable massage table.

Wellness: Long, rhythmic strokes and small circular movements, muscles would release tension. It helps you break down adhesion, promote better circulation, reconnect mind and body and of course a stress relief feel-good sensation. It applies with almond oil and relaxing music on a comfortable massage table.

All of my massages have elements of each other, tailored to your wishes and needs.

Natalia Mahana Palomer

Psychologist for children, adolescents, and adults

I am Natalia, a queer Chilean psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My practice is characterized by an integrative and personalized approach, grounded in the constructivist theory, while incorporating emotional regulation therapy tools, as well as the gender-sensitive perspective and the rights-based approach.

Modalities:

Individual psychology sessions for people of all ages: I offer both online and in-person sessions in Spanish and English.

I have a solid track record in providing individual support to children, adolescents and adults, fostering the creation of a safe space to address the challenges they are facing. My goal is to facilitate respectful, inclusive processes tailored to each person’s unique needs, contributing to their emotional well-being and the strengthening of their interpersonal relationships.

The objective is to promote self-knowledge, self-expression and greater awareness about one’s own emotional, cognitive and relational world. And thus, accompany each person in the process of living more faithfully to their own needs, emotions, desires and beliefs, attempting to set aside external influences and expectations, to reconnect with who they really are, and develop emotional and social tools that favor a more balanced and fulfilling life, moving towards the desired goals and greater well-being.

My approach focuses on exploring, without judgment, each individual’s experiences, contexts, and personal characteristics, considering the impact of gender dynamics and social contexts. Together, we seek to understand how their experiences and relationships have shaped the meanings that guide the way they think, feel, and relate to the world. We aim to understand how these meanings may be affecting their current well-being and work to comprehend, question, and transform the thoughts and beliefs that influence how they perceive themselves, relate to others, and live their lives.

Shiatsu, Craniosacral Bodywork, Top-Surgery Aftercare for Trans*, Inter and Non-binary People

I’m Niklas (he/him or no pronouns), a queer, trans, neurodivergent Heilpraktiker (alternative health practitioner).

For more than ten years, I have been working as a Shiatsu practitioner, and in January 2025 I began training in Craniosacral Bodywork. In addition, I offer post-mastectomy aftercare for trans*, intersex, and non-binary people.

I understand bodywork as a space of resonance — a place where, through touch and dialogue, awareness of one’s felt sense can emerge. My approach integrates mindful bodywork, trauma-sensitive methods, and body-oriented dialogue. Each session is process-oriented, resource-oriented, and discrimination-aware. I hold space for everything your body wants to tell and support processes of regulation and resilience within the nervous system. Through this, change can become possible in both physical and emotional patterns.

Modalities:

Shiatsu
Shiatsu can be very supportive if you’re seeking a deeper connection with your body, going through a challenging period in life, or experiencing physical discomfort. It can be a helpful complement to psychotherapy or medical treatment.

Because of its effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, Shiatsu can be beneficial for chronic pain, neurological conditions, Long Covid, exhaustion (e.g. ME/CFS), mental health and trauma-related stress. During times of personal crisis or major life transitions, it can have a stabilizing effect.

A Shiatsu session takes place fully clothed, lying or sitting on a futon or massage table. By shifting my body weight, I apply pressure with my fingers, palms, or elbows to specific areas or meridians. Joint rotations and stretches are also part of the treatment. The intensity — whether light or firm, slow or dynamic — is individually adjusted. Shiatsu is suitable for people of all ages and all bodies.

Craniosacral Bodywork
The biodynamic approach to Craniosacral Therapy uses attuned touch to accompany the body’s own movements and rhythms in the cerebrospinal fluid, organs, and tissues. This can support processes of reorganization, health, and vitality.

Meeting the richness of one’s own inner world can be a deep and lasting experience, fostering a sense of connection, spaciousness, and relaxation.

A Cranio session takes place fully clothed on a massage table and is suitable for people of all ages and all bodies.

Post-Mastectomy Aftercare for TIN (Trans, Intersex & Non-Binary) People
Healing takes place on many levels at once, and physical and emotional processes are interconnected. Therefore, a holistic approach is important to me — one that addresses mobility recovery and scar healing while also supporting the body’s self-healing capacity and holding space for emotional processes.

Every healing process unfolds in phases and is also deeply individual. I take this into account in my support, and generally recommend three sessions. These include an initial anamnesis and, depending on your needs, may involve scar care or massage, exercises to restore upper body mobility, and Shiatsu to support emotional integration and harmonization of the operated area.

Psychotherapist in training

Hi, I’m Sara, a neurodivergent psychotherapist from Hungary, currently based in Berlin.

My path into psychology grew out of a deep curiosity about what it means to feel well, and the complexity of human connection. During my master’s in Educational Psychology and Counseling, I researched well-being and flow, and led workshops on resilience, strengths exploration, and learning.

After discovering my own neurodivergence, I felt called to support others with similar experiences. My work focuses on helping neurodivergent individuals — whether on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, or other forms of neurodiversity — to understand and embrace how their mind works, and to create a life that feels authentic and balanced.

Having lived in Paris and Malta, I also understand the joys and challenges of expat life. For the past three years, I’ve been living in Berlin, where I’m training as a licensed systemic psychotherapist at the Systemisches Institut für Achtsamkeit.

Modalities:

I offer individual counseling sessions in English, German, and Hungarian for adults and teenagers.

In a neuroaffirmative, person-centered space, we work together to enhance your overall well-being in an atmosphere that is safe, honest, and accepting. Our sessions focus on your experiences, emotions, and challenges, always guided by your personal needs and goals.

I believe in fostering a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll find the tools that work best for you, so you can live life authentically. Depending on your preferences, our sessions might include relaxation, mindfulness and guided visualization exercises, reflective questionnaires, or gentle take-home practices to help integrate what we work on in therapy.

Rate:

Individual Session: 90 Euro
I also offer sessions with a reduced price for people with low income and/or for those whose lives are affected by systemic oppression and marginalization.

Neurodiversity Screening: 200 Euro
I offer screening assessments for neurodevelopmental differences such as autism, ADHD, and related neurotypes. The service includes questionnaires completed in advance and an approximately 2-hour consultation where we discuss developmental history and current experiences. After the assessment, I provide professional feedback on possible neurodevelopmental differences and recommendations for next steps, with the option of a written psychological report if needed.

I also offer sessions with a reduced price for people with low income and/or for those whose lives are affected by systemic oppression and marginalization.

Myoreflex Therapy / Somatic Practices

I like to call myself a dance and movement artist, slowist, and certified Myoreflex practitioner. I also hold a degree in psychology. In my bodywork sessions, I approach the body as a responsive and poetic landscape of stories articulating through movement, rhythm, images, words, silence, and perception.

Modalities:

Myoreflex is a hands-on bodywork method that helps balance muscle tone and improve each body’s unique alignment. Through specific pressure on key points along muscle chains and myofascial meridians, it communicates with the nervous system to encourage self-regulation and restore balance. Myoreflex addresses the connection between physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

With over 15 years of professional experience in dance, performance, and somatics, I weave these disciplines into my sessions, offering a holistic approach that creates space for unprocessed pain, emotions, and experiences stored in the nervous system, fascia, and brain to be expressed and gradually released. It’s important to note that any release or shift in the body is initiated from within, rather than through mechanical intervention by the practitioner. This allows to move at your own pace and reconnect with your sense of self.

Each session takes place on a massage table or a shiatsu mat in comfortable clothing. Sessions typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, including a brief conversation before and after to ensure we’re aligned on your needs. The first session includes a comprehensive talk about your individual motivations and body biography to better understand and support your process. Depending on what’s most beneficial for you, I combine hands-on bodywork with guided movement sequences, individualized stretching, and awareness exercises.

The session can take place in English and German.

Wellness Massages for Queers & Allies

At SPARK I offer wellness massages for queers & allies.

Modalities:

I massage with precious oil using various massage techniques from classic massage. Every massage is unique. We start with a cup of tea to discuss exactly what the massage might look like.

Why are the massages for Queers & Allies?

Individual and structural experiences of discrimination and power relations have an effect on our bodies and can limit us greatly as a result. The massages can create a balance, nourish us and give us the strength to continue fighting for our rights and to be ourselves. On the one hand, massages work on a physical level by releasing tension and stimulating detoxification processes. On the other hand, the massages also work on a psychological level: the touch can calm and regulate the nervous system and thus have a nourishing effect on the entire organism.

I try to create a discrimination-sensitive, queer and trans*euphoric place where marginalized people in particular can relax and unwind for a while. Thanks to my previous experience in psychiatry-critical projects and further training in trauma sensitivity, I can also offer trauma-informed wellness massages.

I am white, have a German passport and define myself as non-binary trans and queer. I am mostly able-bodied. Having grown up in working-class circles, I now often move in academicized contexts.
